Dr. Blake Brandes built a career delivering high-energy, hip-hop-driven growth mindset assemblies to 535,000+ students across 41 states through interactive learning. When the pandemic shifted education virtual, he needed content that could translate that same energy to screens.
I was brought in to animate his newly designed logo and edit a promotional video announcing the launch of his virtual assembly program. The logo design featured orbital elements that evoked electrons in motion, so the animation concept leaned into that visual language—breaking his name into three components (Dr., Blake, Brandes) and treating each as a particle that pulses, orbits, and snaps to the beat of an original track Dr. Brandes produced himself.
The result is a kinetic reveal that mirrors the rhythm and movement at the core of his teaching style, paired with an edited promo video weaving together assembly clips, student testimonials, and growth mindset moments to show educators what the virtual experience delivers. I also delivered these elements in square and vertical sizes so he could promote his business across different platforms.
